Working with disabled clients the last 23 years I’ve met many disabled people struggling with student loans.
When I researched how I might be able to help these clients my eyes were opened to how many people struggled under the burden of onerous student loans payments because they were never told about federal loan programs that would make repayment more feasible.
So, I’ve added student loan law to my practice to try and help as many struggling people as I can.
A big problem is student loan servicers (e.g., Navient, NelNet, FedLoan Servicing (PHEAA), Cornerstone, OSLA Servicing, HESC/EdFinancial) don’t necessarily have your best interests in mind.
They may try to urge you in to re-finance your federal loans into private loans promising lower payments. What they may not tell you is that doing so cuts off your access to other federal repayment options that may be better for your situation, or even offer loan forgiveness after a period of time.
If any of the below apply to you, we can help:
- Overwhelmed by and unable to make your monthly student loan payments.
- Receiving harassing or threatening phone calls from bill collectors on behalf of student loan servicers.
- In default, and don’t know how to get out.
- Being threatened with wage garnishment, reduction of your Social Security benefits, or tax refund intercept.
If you answered YES to any of the above, please read the rest of this site to learn more about us and the services we provide. Then, schedule a 30-minute Student Loan Analysis via phone or virtual meeting for just $295 (reduced to only $150 during the COVID-19 pandemic).
THERE’S NO NEED TO MEET IN PERSON. Particularly during the COVID-19 crisis, in person meetings are not necessary. We can accomplish everything we need to via phone or video conference. We also offer a free recording of your Comprehensive Analysis so you won’t have to take notes during our session.
